IAAF confirms Yelena latest pole-vault mark

Russian pole vaulter Yelena Isinbayeva's world record of 5.06m at the Weltklasse meet in Zurich has been ratified by the IAAF.

Her performance on August 28 beat the mark of 5.05 she cleared at the Beijing Olympics a year earlier.

Isinbayeva has broken the world outdoor and indoor records 27 times.
